CEREC is an acronym for Chair-side Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics.

What are the main advantages of CEREC?
First and foremost, the restoration can be performed in a single session, usually in about one hour. With CEREC there is no need for us to make an impression and send it to the lab. We will not inconvenience you by asking you to return for a second visit.
Secondly, the restoration is natural looking because it is made of tooth colored porcelain. It is metal-free. The ceramic material is compatible with tissue in your mouth and is high grade, anti-abrasive and plaque-resistant. It allows us to be extremely precise and save more of the healthy part of your tooth.
Your New Smile:
In about one hour we can restore teeth, using restorations that resemble the composition of natural tooth structure and without the need for impressions. Using this technology, we can produce any kind of tooth restoration. Chipped and discolored teeth can be repaired using porcelain crowns and veneers. Broken down molars can be restored using inlays and onlays, meaning unsightly silver fillings are a thing of the past. Enhance your smile with CEREC ® 3D.
Cerec VS Conventional veneers:
The difference between these and conventional porcelain veneers is that they are made in a CEREC machine, in the dentist's office. Your teeth are prepared, an optical scan is taken of the prepared teeth, and then a computerized milling machine makes the veneers in the dentist's office, precisely milled to fit your teeth exactly. Conventional veneers are made using an impression of your teeth that is sent to a dental laboratory. It can take from one to three weeks for the finished case to get back to the dental office.
